Bossman Beard Pomade Review

by

This beard Pomade was sent to me by Bossman to review for you. As always here is my honest opinion and thoughts on the Beard Pomade.

Most beard balms that you find to come in either a one or two-ounce container, well Bossman has outdone them with this hefty 4-ounce container. The entire beard pomade container is plastic and has a screw off lid. Inside the container, you will find a friction fitted inner lid that has a small tab to pull to get it out.

This was sent to me in the scent of Stagecoach which is sweet tobacco, aged Bourbon, and a leather scent.  This has to be one of the manliest since I’ve ever smelled. Stagecoach is a really nice scent it’s not a super-strong sent where people around you aren’t going to be overpowered by it but it lets off just enough sent so that anybody nice and close to you will be able to smell it and I’m betting they are going to like it as well. You can also order this in the other scents that BossmanBrands offers such as Magic, Hammer, Naked, Gold, and Royal oud,

The directions say to take about a quarter size and put in your palm and rubbing your hands together to get it to melt and then just rub it through your beard. Make sure to rub it into your beard well because if you don’t you will get white spots or lighter spots in your beard.

Bossman has made this product with all-natural ingredients that include Water, Mango Seed Butter, Cocoa Seed Butter, Shea Butter, Beeswax, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Lanolin Wax, PVP, Glyceryl Stearate, Butylene Glycol, Tribehenin, Ceteareth-25, Phenoxyethanol Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, Citric Acid

The texture this reminds me of a thick moisturizer, it’s definitely a thick texture and it also has a little bit of tackiness to it which you will feel in your beard for a while after application but after about an hour hour-and-a-half once it dries the tackiness goes away.

My experience with using this is that it definitely gives a stiff feel, however, it’s not a stiff feel like you would think, like a hair spray or something it definitely still moves. I really don’t notice it on the beard unless I looked down then the bottom of my goatee hits my chest and I definitely noticed it as it stiffens the beard to help keep it in place.  You can definitely feel the stiffness especially after a few minutes of letting it. If you did happen to mess it up, you can reactivate it by rubbing your fingers or brush through it a little bit and help get those hairs to remember where they’re supposed to be.  most of the time I noticed that the hair just kind of goes right back to where they’re supposed to be on their own. I found that this Beard pomade helped keep my beard looking good all day.

Do I think that it’s worth your money? Well because this comes in at a hefty four ounces you’re getting twice what you would with any other balm, I think that for the $20 it is definitely worth it especially if you need to get your beard under control
