Can You Handlebar beard oil

by

Can You Handlebar, sent me a few things to do a review on a while back and these two beard oils were apart of that package. As usual, I used these as a normal consumer might for the standard 30days (give or take a day or two) and here is what I found.

Packaging:

Can You Handlebar does what very few companies do to ensure your oils get to you safely, they send the glass bottle in a snug and strong cardboard tube. The cardboard container has a tight-fitting lid and a labeled sticker that indicates the product and its scent along with a barcode for in-store purchases. The oil comes in a 1 Oz dark tinted glass container with an eyedropper lid.

Scent:

I received two scent samples Joy and Goodwill.

Goodwill: Orange & clove.  In my experience the clove scent hit first then the orange citrus would work its way in rather quickly and really even everything out to be a nice relaxing scent

Joy: Peppermint & cleary sage. This has a strong peppermint scent at first but then the Cleary sage works in to help tone it down then adds its own scent into it. although its a strong scent it does dissipate and tones down fairly quickly once applied.

Ingredients:

Olea europaea (olive) oil, Vitis vinifera (grapeseed) oil, Oryza sativa (rice) bran oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (jojoba) seed oil, fragrance (essential oils), Tocopherol acetate (Vitamin E), Limnanthes alba (meadowfoam seed oil)

Both contain the same ingredients, the only difference is what essential oil is used to change the scent.

My Experience:

Out of the two scents I was sent I favored the Goodwill over the Joy as I love the Orange scent and the way the clove mixed into it. I used the Glldwill about 2x as much as the joy. I found that this beard oil was dry in about an hour and did not leave an oily feeling to my goatee. I also found that if I ran my fingers through it about halfway through the day and smelled them that I could smell the scent I put on in the morning. This is a good thing as it means the scent does not dissipate when the oil drys.

Price:

at $20 dollars for a 1 oz bottle its a bit more expensive then the oils that I usually use, That being said I do think its probably worth it if you’re looking for a good high-quality beard oil that will have a great scent and not leave you feeling oily all day.
