This Shave Soap was sent to me by Lucky Francs as part of his Complete Wet Shave Kit. The kit included this Sandalwood shave soap, De razor, a shave bowl, shave brush, and 5 Razor Blades. I will add the links to those as they get written to the bottom of this review. This post is all about the soap and lather you can get with it.
Packaging:
Lucky Francs sends this 4oz soap in a nice reusable tin container that has a friction lid. I like the fact that the soap is not poured into the container so you can take it out and put it in a shave bowl like the one the kit comes with. The tin is also great for traveling with your shave soap and can even be used as a shaving bowl if needed.
Scent:
This shave puck has a strong sandalwood scent. When lathering it gives off a very nice scent as well.
Ingredients:
This is not an all natural product however I did look up many of these ingredients and all look fairly standard for many shave and body soaps.

My Experience:
I found this soap to be very easy to get any type of lather out of it. I found that if you want a really thick lather that you can get that with a dryer brush fairly easy. With a wetter lather, I was surprised to find how well it clung to my face and stayed where I needed it to. Lucky Francs did a good job on making a handmade soap that lifts the hairs and keeps them there till you go over the area with your razor. I didn’t see any need for a shave oil with this soap as its fairly slick as it is however if you like using one go right ahead.
Price:
You can get this shave soap In the shave kits or on its own for right around $13 USD. I think this is a good price for this soap due to the ease of getting a good lather and the great Sandalwood scent that it offers. Click the links below to get yourself a bar.
