Naked Armor Safety Razor Review

We are taking a look inside of these Spartacus Safety Shaving Kit that Naked Armor sent me to review for you. In this review, we are only going to be looking at one of three items that are in the kit.  In this review, we are taking a look at the safety razor. Like all my reviews I used this razor for over 30days before making this review.

The safety razor has a nice Brazilian Sandalwood handle it’s got a nice weight of 3 oz which I think a lot of that can be contributed to both the Chrome tip and the Chrome end caps that really helped that have a really nice comfortable balance and is just at that rate weight where you don’t feel like you need to be pushing on the razor to get a good shave. The head is fairly standard and has no special features. I’ll get into the shave experience shortly

I really like the way that the sandalwood handle felt in my hand, they put a nice and comfortable curve on it. In the hand it’s very well-balanced and it really has a nice weight to it that is very nice because it requires almost zero pressure when you are shaving to get a nice close shave.

I did notice that it can be a little bit picky on the angle but then again it seems to me like all safety razors like this have their own angle they prefer, so if you used to shaving with razors like this it’s no big deal at all.

I found the shave is probably about a medium aggressiveness. When compared to a couple of my other razors and it seems like it’s right in the center of aggressive and not aggressive.

I do think this would be a good razor if you looking at getting into the double edge shaving game.

Do I think this is worth your money? Well, I’m not going to sit here and tell you that this is the best razor or kit that you can get for the money because frankly, it’s not. But I will tell you that I think this would be a great gift for someone just starting out shaving or as a graduation gift. Why do I think its best as a gift? well, I will tell you it’s not because I think the razor is crap because as you read above I think it’s well balanced has a decent shave and is very comfortable in the hand and has an expensive wood handle. so then why a gift? because of the box, this shaving kit comes in. it’s very nice looking its got a great presentation and I think if you’re looking for something for yourself those bells and whistles arent as important as when giving it as a gift. Although you could go and buy each part of the kit separately and save more money, what could cost you around $80 if each thing was sold separately (expensive sandalwood handle included) will cost about $100 USD Boxed by Naked Armor

Price $100 USD
